I am new to this forum however, i found it interesting and informative when i went through some of the correspondence therefore, thought i should become part of it.

I have a question, which i think would be better answered here,

Q: How important are managements comments in an internal audit report? Can we submit our report to audit committee without any comments from management or they have to be there for completeness of the report.

Management's comment are very important as they demonstrate concurrence with or disagreement with both the findings and the recommendation. There should also be a plan of action showing how management will correct the control weakness.
