I have almost always found control problems in organisations where Cash on Delivery (COD) sales are treated and accounted for as cash. What are the best practice controls in this scenario?

Dear Cmutsumba,

As far as I knew the best practice is you have to minimize your sales
force carrying cash. The settlement must be done by bank wire or
transfered direct to your company bank account.
